What will students be creating?
After School Clubs & Weekend Clubs are designed as 2 hour workshops allowing students the opportunity learn film-making concepts and provide enough time to experiment with short, simple ideas.
Students will create a series of short 60-90 second videos at their own pace during their club sessions.
These films will be emailed to you at the end of term for free as digital downloads.

Youtube Creators Clubs focus on the safe use of Social Media with a particularly close look at Youtube.
During the session students will make videos with the intention of them being posted to the Silverbox Kids Youtube Channel, a channel we monitor closely.
The videos students create will range from short narrative films, tutorials, listicles and vlogs.

Do all the students need to be in front of the camera?
Not at all. Our focus is on what happens behind the camera. Although it is very tricky to make a film without ANY actors, it's rare we don't have someone keen to take up that role but we are aware that the spotlight isn't for everyone.

What are your class ratios?
We run at an 8/1 ratio meaning there is lots of contact time with tutors

Can I try one session before I commit to a whole term?
Yes, once you have signed up and paid if you decide after the first session that the club isn't right for you, we will refund you the remaining sessions without having to give two weeks notice.
