We are always on the hunt for talented individuals with an interest in multimedia that would like to help to create fun/safe spaces for young people. These spaces are dedicated to providing young people with the opportunity to explore their creativity and learn new skills.
Silverbox Multimedia create multimedia workshops for children aged 8 - 16 years with a slant towards film-making.

We don't require you to have past experience in film-making, just a passion for the subject or an equivalent digital creative skill (Animation, photography, coding etc). You will need to be comfortable with using technology at the very least. Our main priority is that you enjoy working with young people and don't mind getting a little silly when the moment calls for it. There is an expectation that you will be a good role model for the students. You will be supporting our Workshop Manager and Workshop Leader. They will be chiefly in charge of student welfare and behaviour during the workshops but you will be expected to help with reporting concerns to management. As part of our dedication to safety you will be required to pass an enhanced DBS check in order to be considered for the role. We will provide this to any successful candidates.
Helping with setup/breakdown. Supporting students while they undertake activities. Using/demonstrating how to use technology (Cameras, Laptops etc). Reporting to management any observations or concerns. Answering parents questions (when required). Supporting safety policies by exhibiting safe behaviours.
Past experience working with/looking after young people in any capacity. Punctual. Ability to multitask.
Past film-making or creative digital media experience.
